JOB DESCRIPTION:
ROI Consulting Group is currently seeking a CAFM/IWMS Application Engineer to provide full life-cycle project implementation of CAFM/IWMS and facilities management technology.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions for CAFM and IWMS implementations
- Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to support and implement CAFM and IWMS solutions
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients to understand specific system requirements, focusing on documenting layout, design, and space planning of facilities in relation to move plans
- Research, test, or verify the proper functioning of software patches and fixes
- Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes
- Offer technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems, including conducting building audits to verify employee locations, furniture layout, and room configurations on floor plans
- Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information, ensuring compliance with building construction processes, plans, and related documentation
- Design and conduct hardware or software tests, drawing polylines in AutoCAD in accordance with selected space measurement protocols such as BOMA and IFMA
- Investigate system component suitability for specific purposes and make recommendations regarding component use, coordinating with users for CAD/CAFM/IWMS team updates from planning, work order, and design and construction
- Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements, updating and maintaining drawings, space data, and occupancy data based on move information and project information provided by clients
- Train system users in system operation or maintenance
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management
- At least six months’ experience in AutoCAD
- Workable knowledge of CAFM and IWMS
SALARY RANGE:
$90,005 ~ $90,010 a year
HOURS:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 days and 40 hours a week)
