Schneider Electric is also in the process of acquiring Planon. This trend is expected to continue as companies compete for prominence in the “Smart Buildings” and “Digital Twin” space.


🔊 2023 Digital Twins White Paper

A global survey on Digital Twins adoption was conducted, resulting in a joint whitepaper by IFMA’s IT Community, Autodesk, and ROI. The 2022 survey indicates that 75% of senior leaders find value in Digital Twins, and a similar majority believes a single software vendor can offer a solution. Additionally, nearly 70% plan to maintain Digital Twins in-house, while less than 20% will rely on outside consultants.
